# A Day Behind the Visit — facilitator guide

90 minutes. English. Tourism Malaysia-focused illustrative scenarios, not verified customer SOPs. All partner, traveller and financial examples are fictional. Public materials contain no customer tenant links or collected responses.

## Prepare before the session
Confirm the participant groups, actual coordinator and approval/sharing authorities. Confirm app availability, Loop access, approved training OneDrive/SharePoint locations, permitted sharing policies and library/channel permissions with the authorised administrator. Provide links and test identities privately. Do not change production permissions.

Ask learners to sign in before the 90-minute session. Prepare an authorised reviewer, an uninvited test identity and an external test identity where permitted. Check the site and download pack on the venue network and projected screen. Work in pairs. Nothing in the exercise sends a partner message or authorises spending.

## Answer guide
1. The fictional 3 November 2026 call at 09:00 Europe/London appears at 17:00 Asia/Kuala_Lumpur. Missing visit window and group size must be questions. Calendar availability must still be checked.
2. The reviewer edits the same OneDrive draft; the uninvited identity is denied. Existing permissions can affect this result: inspect them instead of assuming a link revokes access.
3. The master is in the approved library; the old draft is retired as authoritative, links updated and old-link behaviour tested. A page explains and links to a library.
4. Record proposals separately from authorised decisions, an owner, agreed due date and outstanding approval. Test each collaborator’s access. Loop collaboration is not automatically AI or Work IQ, and lists do not automatically synchronise to Planner.
5. Logistics uses invented MYR values: 600 + 12 × 35 + 120 = 1,140. The stop is unavailable, yet its transport is estimated. Resolve or mark the itinerary and workbook unconfirmed together. Calculation is not approval.
6. The deliberately unsafe release contains four planted disclosures: MYR 1,140, SYNTHETIC-TRAVELLER-01, an internal working comment and an internal workbook reference. Remove all four. Inspect the release, confirm approved-for-exercise status, and test view-only recipient access without access to the internal pack. Keep the email unsent.
7. The backup finds the master and release, states the next action and owner, and distinguishes proposals from confirmed decisions. Assess artefact quality, not staff performance.

## If access fails
Continue using the site’s visible document previews and downloaded materials. Pair a learner with the demonstrator or complete the intended actions in the planning template. Mark access checks UNVERIFIED until they can actually be tested. If external sharing is disabled, explain the approved alternative; never create an anonymous-link workaround. Do not spend the exercise window changing tenant configuration.

## Self-paced revision
Chapter and exercise links can be bookmarked. Open each Check your result only after practice. The five departmental alternatives are outside the 90-minute core. There is no completion tracking or response submission.

## Evidence and licensing
Adapted from the supplied Tourism Malaysia Day-in-the-Life Scenarios brief dated 9 October 2026.
